“I need to”, “I should” and “I have to” are terms that can make you feel burdened by problems. Quickly, you may become anxious about all you have to do.
However, a problem that can be solved by an action is not a problem. So take unnecessary pressure off yourself. Return to the present moment. Be a silent witness to your thoughts and ask yourself “what problem do I have right now?”. The answer is always none.
“When you feel confused or burdened by problems focus on THIS INSTANT and ask yourself: WHAT PROBLEM DO I HAVE RIGHT NOW? You will find that there is no problem NOW. A challenge that requires action, possibly, but not a problem.”
Eckhart Tolle
