The Brain Fog

Sometimes we experience a fuzzyness. Our minds are cluttered and we cannot think clearly.

This is often referred to as brain fog.

Brain fog is characterised by “confusion, forgetfulness, and a lack of focus and mental clarity. This can be caused by overworking, lack of sleep, stress, and spending too much time on the computer.”

It is a common experience in modern day life. It is a sign that we have been stuck in our minds. Running on auto pilot. Buried ourselves into work.

Lately, have you filled your own energy pot? Or taken time to contemplate and just be?

If not slow down, slow down, slow down.

Practice presence. Re-connect. Return home.

“Stop measuring days by degree of productivity and start experiencing them by degree of presence.”

Alan Watts
