We can experience such a variety range of emotions in a single day.
Some moments of peace and tranquil. A real clarity with life. We can feel anchored. Content. Happy. Grateful.
Then all of a sudden, fuzziness. Dark clouds. Worry and anxiety. A heavy heart.
The former is when we are living in the now. We are in the present moment and we see all as it is.
In the latter, our minds have wandered to the past or to the future. Here we have become blind. Blind to all the good we have in our lives. Blind to the opportunities all around us.
It’s okay to wander. But find a way to return to the present.
“Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
