When you have a good day, is it due to your inner world state or is it due to external factors outside of your control?
Clue: It is not the latter.
Contemplate the following whilst reflecting on what you have lately deemed “a good day”:
- Were you generally more content, fulfilled and peaceful internally that day?
- At times, were you more present and in the moment?
- Did you feel care free and did you sense the joy of life inside you?
- Were you more aware and did you avoid reacting to the ego in you and to the ego in others?
Awareness of our inner world allows us to make a choice.
Choose internal calm and joy. Choose to have a good day.
“And then one day I decided that hurry and stress were no longer going to be part of my life. Stress is self-created; I decided to stop manufacturing it. We can choose an internal calm and joy even amid the chaos.”
Brendon Burchard
