In unconsiousness, thoughts are involuntary and uninvited. They are instrusive, self-limiting, and harmful. They cause stress, anxiety and depression.
Most cunningly, they are designed to keep us trapped. Trapped in further unconsious thought. Trapped in fear. Trapped in harmful habits and beliefs.
What’s important is what we choose to do with those stressful, involuntary thoughts. Through consciousness, we can simply let them go. We can choose a different path. A different life. A consious life.
“How many people are trapped in their everyday habits: part numb, part frightened, part indifferent? To have a better life we must keep choosing how we are living.”
Albert Einstein
