Do the things you are passionate about in life. Enjoy them. Prioritize them.
When we follow our passions, we feel life and energy pass through us. We feel liberated and are fully engaged in the present moment. We are no longer stuck in the stream of incessant thinking. Yoga, running, golf, football, rugby, writing, horse riding, surfing, hiking or whatever it is, prioritize your passions in life.
When we follow our passions, life is just better. We become better people to be around. Happier, more content. More loving to our families, more productive at work and more clarity of what is important in life. This is real living.
But be careful of pressure replacing passion. For example, if you’re out for a run, enjoy the run for what it is. Don’t put yourself under unneccessary pressure to beat records and then beat yourself up when you don’t. Just enjoy it. Sure set external goals if you like, but if you have one internal goal to be fully engaged, enthusiastic and to bring enjoyment to what you are doing, the rest as they say will look after itself.
